Venue Spotlight- Black Butte Ranch!

Black Butte Ranch is one of my favorite places!

That may sound like a big, cheesy statement but the truth is, it really is. I was very lucky to grow up spending most weekends, holidays and the month of August at The Ranch.  I even had my first “real” job working in the golf course pro shops!  The combination of so many wonderful memories with family and friends and the fact that it’s still one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been adds up to me thinking it is just about perfect for a wedding!

Luckily for couples they also have a new lodge with modern amenities but they didn’t lose that great view.  We’ve had a handful of weddings in the new lodge and for all of them they chose to have the ceremony outside by the lake, cocktails on the patio and reception inside.  It works out really, really well so that you can enjoy the views but also have the convenience of climate control if the mountain weather turns a little unpredictable.  The colors inside are very neutral (light woods, black and cream) so any wedding color palette works really well. The new lodge also allows for year round weddings with the ceremony inside and a flip to the reception.
