Floral Crown Tutorial with Brown Butter Photography… Part 1.

Flower crowns for flower girls

One of my favorite wedding trends of recent years has been the re-introduction of the floral crown.

Part earth child, part Greek goddess a floral crown can add so much personality and customization to a bride’s look.  I think as a florist in the heart of Portlandia it also suits the hipster nature of our fair city extremely well (remember this infographic?!)  As a fun way to play with my love of the accessory I had the pleasure of creating a little tutorial photo shoot with the insanely talented Tara at Brown Butter Photography.  Flower crowns are fairly easy to make but I do recommend PRACTICING if you want to take on the task yourself.  The same basic technique of wire, tape, repeat can be used on any style of crown.  The shoot is also featured on Green Wedding Shoes blog today so you jump over there for even more pics and descriptions. 😉
