Izzy and Colton’s Fourth of July wedding reception!
I absolutely love a theme wedding and so I was really excited when Katy from Bridal Bliss first told me about the classic Americana holiday vibes the couple was going for! Add to that the setting of a lush blueberry farm (Blueberries for Sal was one of my favorite childhood books) and I was really in heaven.
Cocktail hour took place around the pool and we were tasked with installing a floating installation. Admittedly, I’ve never gotten into a pool on a wedding day before and I have to say it felt really good, haha! Dinner, dancing and fireworks viewing took place on the lawn nearby underneath a classic Sperry tent. Colorful, vintage inspired linens from La Tavola added to the holiday theme.
For the flowers we focused on rich reds and blueberries still on the branch. Aged terra cotta and sterling silver vessels helped lean into the elevated farm feeling.
