Taylor and Chris treated their guests to a warm, modern, wedding at Amaterra in Portland’s west hills.
Without a doubt, Amaterra has quickly become one of my favorite venues to work at! The views are beautiful, the proximity to Portland is so convenient (especially for a winery) and the interior space has great visual interest while maintaining a very neutral, easy palette. Taylor and Chris were originally planning on an outdoor ceremony to capitalize on the views but a rainy day moved the ceremony inside. Fortunately, having the interior room made that a really easy, beautiful transition.
Large white roses, airy babies breath and tons of candles added an ethereal, modern look to the space. While accents of black grounded the feel while two serpentine tables added visual interest. I’m not always a huge black and white photography fan for weddings but I LOVE how these captured modern simplicity of the day!
