What’s the first step in planning my wedding flowers? Where do we even begin?

The majority of our clients either reach out to us directly or through their planner to confirm date availability and then we’ll setup a time to chat on the phone, zoom or in person at our studio. This is a chance for us to exchange ideas with you, answer your questions and really get into your unique vision for your wedding flowers. After the meeting we’ll email over a proposal complete with itemized descriptions, sample images and pricing. There is no commitment or fee required for this first meeting or proposal.  Once you are ready book a 25% deposit is required to reserve the date.

How much do wedding and event flowers cost/ do you have a pricelist?

At Blum we do not have a pricelist for our wedding or event flowers. Pricing of flowers and decor varies greatly depending on the types of flowers as well as the season availability, the quantity and the technique/labor of the designs required. By not having a set pricelist or overall cost we are able to provide a customized quote based on each client’s wants and needs. For an accurate quote clients are encouraged to come in for a complimentary consultation (see above) where we will go over all the details of your wedding decor. A It’s important to note that the first meeting is often a place to get ideas, concepts and options down on paper and that tailoring is often required to please all parties involved. Do you have a minimum?

We do not currently have a set minimum and work based off availability.  That said, flowers and current design trends are admittedly expensive!  For the bulk of our clients that means they’re going to need at least 4k to get a pretty, well done, but by no means over the top floral order.

Do you do destination weddings and events?

YES!!!  We particularly love working in Central Oregon, the Hood River area and wine country.  Please feel free to reach out for any and all locations to check our availability!
